Welcome, Women and Cruising Readers!

We hope you enjoy following along with us as we sail.  After a surprising length of time in San Diego (but not surprising to our friends and family, who know us pretty well) we are FINALLY (we think) ready to head for Mexico and points beyond!  As soon as an approaching weekend storm system passes through, that is...

BTW, we did decide to see the America's Cup races, and found a unique perch.  More on that soon.

Karen's latest article, "A Sea of Meaning: How the Sea Changes Me" can be found on the blog section of the Women and Cruising web site.  If you haven't been there yet, you'll find a treasure trove of in-depth information and insights from women sailors on hundreds of subjects.  This ain't your grandma's recipe exchange.  It's good writing from some seriously hard core women sailors, and it was such an exciting discovery for me (K) that I just HAD to send them something.  And they liked it.  Woot!

  2. Loved your article -- profoundly insightful! I feel something of that when I'm diving well below the surface, visiting that other world that is, well, other-worldly.

  6. As we're experiencing the insanity that is Cabo San Lucas, I wanted to say that article on how the sea changes you was very insightful. It reflected many thoughts I've had while staring at the stars and waves. Thank you for sharing!
